Holidays and Social Connection

The holidays are always special, and this one is special in a very sad and lonely way. We are meant to gather, to connect, to love one another and this time is no different, except to show our love, we must do this differently. I use Bible.Com and there is always a verse of the day, and today’s was from Isaiah, “For a child will be born to us, a son will be given to us; And the government will rest on His shoulders; And His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace.” 9:6. It reminded me of the wonderful Handel’s Messiah and the powerful song with this verse. Here are a number of versions for you to click through to enjoy.
